Training in Birmingham

On Sunday Primal came together for the first time in a few months.  It was a good session, and we began working on some new stuff.  I have been developing new ways of prepping the CNS for more power and creating drills to increase peripheral awareness, as well as other drills to enhance the learning of ground skills.

The gym facilities are really good.  Jon Law, who organised the venue, is working on getting us a regular slot there.  I'm hoping to get in there twice a month.

During this quiet period, I've been having a look around at the various 'instructor programs' on sale in the martial arts, and quite frankly I know I can do better than that.  I'm working on creating an organisation designed for all who are interested in fighting: on the feet, on the ground, or with weapons.  I'm developing an instructors program based on my method, and I'll be posting in more detail about it later.

In order to support this, I'm in the process of establishing venues around the country where I'll be teaching regularly.  If all goes well, Birmingham will be one of them, and I'm working with Dennis Jones to set something up in the South.  I'm working on other venues around the country as well.   There are international possibilities, and Trish is trying to work out distance learning options for people who live really far away and want to learn my method.

It's taking a little time to put everything together.  I'll be posting more as we go along.
